And the next generation begins

I've begun the design of the next pair of speakers. So far the components will consist of a Zaph 5" woofers paired with a Vifa XT25BG60-04 ring dome tweeter.
I've just started to learn that designing crossovers is not quite so cook book. Using Jeff Bagby's Loudspeaker Design Software the following graphs show my first attempt at designing the crossover associated with the Zaph and Vifa drivers. I am currently soliciting any advice that will improve on what I've done so far.

Speaker debut at Gallery Hop

Following are a few pics of the speakers at their Galley Hop debut.
If nothing else people like the looks even though they were inoperable. They have sence been finished and I'm looking for a few audiophiles to take a listen and give opinions. If you happen to be in Chattanooga, stop in the gallery (Area 61 at 61 E. Main St) and check them out. They love Fleetwood Mac and 10,000 Maniacs Rusted Root (big base) not so much. They sound quite large. So far people seem to be impressed.
A few specs:
The body is made up of a hard maple outr layer and a poplar inner layer.
Wall thickness varies 1" to 1.25"
Internal Vol. right at 3 liters
9" o.d. x 19" 22" long
Ported, well more like orficed (think more of a trumpit instead of a peice of pipe)

Please let me know what you think.

My first ever blog post of my first ever speaker.

INTRO:
My Name is David Crewe and I am in Chattanooga, TN. I am a Mechanical Engineer and Cabinet maker (old world not kitchen)

I've started this blog to document my progression in speakers. This is my first pair of speakers. (Maple stained with custom color analine dyes) I've been sketching speakers of this nature for years and when Madisound Speaker Components, Inc. (http://www.madisound.com/) offered the recession buster for $60.00 I had to give them a go. These are original design and yes I have seen the B&W design which I found while trying to justify my own. I felt pretty good about that.

So, I do hope to get feedback on these. I have started laying up the next pair which will be much the same with the same or a bit better drivers. I'm thinking Zaph. More on those later.
Finished and working in the gallery. Sound good to me.
